Welcome to the Newcastle University Choir website

Projected Concerts:

Sadly, we have decided to postpone “Messiah” once more, due to technical and staffing uncertainties in December related to Covid. Hopefully everything will be running more smoothly in the new year and the new date for this concert is Saturday, 9 April 2022 at 2.30 p.m. at City Hall, Newcastle. “Messiah” close to Easter time is entirely appropriate; indeed the first performance in Dublin in 1742 was at Easter time.

Ticketing information will be available December/January. Please come along and support us.

Zoom rehearsals continue until we can meet again in person.

Book rehearsal spots here with Trybooking.

Because we have been out of action for quite some time, this is a video link of us performing the opening movement from Carmina Burana in 2018

Enrolment and fees information:

COVID rules apply. Do not attend if you have symptoms Please arrive early. You will need to check in using the Service NSW QR code and follow the venue’s COVID-19 policy at all times. You must follow the directions of our Covid marshal.
